I've eaten here 3X a week for quite some time. Delightful staff. Homemade EVERYTHING! Soles, tortillas, etc....all made in house. Traditional true Mexican dishes cooked home-style. A must visit!

This is the perfect Mexican restaurant!Eating good, healthy food outdoors with endless jaimaica tea and the best tortillas ever!The service was very good. Take a chance! The look from the street isn't the best part...the food and low prices are!

This is a local family owned restaurant with delicious authentic mexican food that offers a variety of traditional dishes and beautiful handmade tortillas at very accesible prices. If you are after a good experience of a flavourful traditional breakfast or lunch this is a go to without a doubt! Support local family businesses and come visit Doña Toña's Kitchen. They are on top of covid restrictions and everything is super clean. Muchas gracias por la deliciosa experiencia, volveremos muy pronto!

Cheap tasty food. I ordered a pollo adobo I think it was for 90 pesos and then ordered another plate. Great flavoured sauce in which the chicken was cooked. Came with a watermelon aguafresca. I kept passing this place on the street thinking it was closed, but I finally went in and found the seating area in the back.

We started going here about two months ago and have been back several times for lunch and dinner. Lovely family run local restaurant with fresh food that tastes home made. This place is a La Cruz classic experience.

Saw local construction workers eating here en masse so followed them in and was not disappointed. Fried fish and chile rellenos, each served with rice and beans, salad, and soft corn tortillas. Was definitely a local experience with traditional fare - open air kitchen is right there in the backyard. Owner was very friendly. Give this place a try if you want the local experience. 70 mx per plate.

This is the cheapest most authentic spot for breakfast or lunch. Always good food and friendly service, while literally sitting in someone’s house! We come here all the time. You cannot buy and make your food for these prices. Breakfast or lunch for TWO is under 5 us!!!!!
